This (www.systemrequirementslab.com) site will test your computers specs and see if it will run.

480093 2006-08-22 11:27:00 No,all games run good enough for me at the moment!!! :D

Specs:
2gb ddr400 of ram
3500 A64
7800gs 256mb agp
Audigy 2 zs
Winfast tv card
1 x120gb hd,1 x 250gb hd,1 x 80gb hd

2gb ddr400 of ram
170 Opty.
1900xt 512mb pcie
X-fire xtream
2 x 250gb hd's

Planned upgrades maybe a new smaller computer case and maybe a crossfire mb for my 1900xt and opty.,but not a must have at this stage.

480094 2006-08-22 12:01:00 fishy, ur pretty close of having a system like mine. and i highly suggest getting a bigger power supply, no less than 500watts. native (10487)
480095 2006-08-22 13:41:00 Yeah, the psu could be bigger so it will last you for future upgrades,ie.new graphic card,or if you went sli in the future or if you got a tv card,or more harddrives or whatever, better to have more power then not enough or just enough.

Check out www.slizone.com for the psu's that are certified there and the wattage they are.

I would also change the ram to a 1 gb stick,so in the future you could go 2gb dual channel when you wanted to ie.,when Vista comes or you want to play BF2 and other games really good. And see if you can save for ddr2 800 or better,as ddr2 667 is not so hot,if you can afford to that is,as people on 939 with good ie,name brand (expensive) ddr400 ram are doing better then AM2 and ddr2 667.

480096 2006-08-22 14:01:00 You guys boasting about your specs make me jealous.

But... on top of those great components, for the best gaming experience I reckon running it from a 4 gig iRAM drive would be the best performance increase.

480097 2006-08-22 15:04:00 Well the money from not smoking and gambling and only a little bit of drinking and being single and saving money,(if you can save $50.00 a week or more it soon adds up so I can then spend on computers and games!!) :)

If I had a iram I would have to get a good ups as well, guess I should have a good ups anyway,oh another upgrade. :)

You could also raid your harddrives, that would make a difference as well.(and doing regular defrags on them of course.)Raptors cost too much!!!

Am I blind? I don't see where he mentions what PSU he has?

I have:
3800+ X2
2 x 1Gb DDR400
1 x 120Gb IDE
1 x 16x DVDRW
3 case fans
X1900XTX

and a 485w Enermax.

Its not always watts, its quality and amps too.

Anyway that site isn't necessary, all games ahve minimum and recommended specs on the side of the box, or you can look them up.
Why download some ActiveX component to check?
