480469 2006-08-30 04:51:00 O well.... sounds like i'm going to spend half of summer being offensive and pornographic then BE VERY OFFENDED!!!!!!

480470 2006-08-30 06:20:00 Now this is interesting....

I fail to see anywhere in my posts where I mentioned a religious element, yet immediatly the assumption was reached that I was christian.

I was speaking totally from an ethical and moral viewpoint, looking at the effects of yet another form of nastiness festering in our society.

...This parade was sponsored and promoted by porn sellers and promoters, if you wish to support them, then I'll make sure I stay away from anything you have hidden under your beds

I await the future where we have bestiality parades, that you guys can take your donkeys too.

Your post was full of self righteous posturing and sought to impose your moral values on all the rest of us like it or not. You went as far as condemning everyone who doesn't share your viewpoint (as you also do in the quoted post above). In my experience it's mostly Christians who do that.

480472 2006-08-30 10:28:00 Its a stupid argument, and relies on the premise that naked flesh is bad or evil to start with.

The only difference between your foot and a breast is a tiny mind.

Quite frankly not only could I not give a damn what anybody in my family wanted to do with their bodies but I cant imagine how it could possibly be any of my business.

Though the wife is an exemption:lol: we have a contract....

480474 2006-08-31 06:02:00 WooHoo!
I love it :)
Self rightous posturing on the internet, surely not .

I am sorry I outlined my values and ethics, and I exposed the hypocritcal nature of NZ society . One that gets moral rightous over anything pornography related, and physically violent over someone associated with it .

Take the guy who was going to move to South Brighton to live with his sister after leaving prison only to have the house attacked by local concerned citizens .

Take fathers and grandfathers confronted in parks whilst watching their children . Take all those police officers accused of porn for having images on their computers .

Yet when a parade promoted by self avowed pornographers, with stars of those porn movies, promoting an "erotica" week, which is blatently porn, takes place then we get people saying "But its only boobies" "how can some breasts corrupt children?" .

Which one of you guys would be throwing stones at the house of someone convicted of having porn, while also holding the same views as above?

Maybe if we put it in another form "Come on and try this heroin, its only a little, but it won't hurt . How can one injection or chase hurt people? I have been using for years and I am OK"

If suddenly porn is so socially acceptable that a parade promoting it is conducted then there are a hell of a lot of people behind bars and with convictions and lost jobs who deserve an apology .

Now that a parade featuring porn artists promoting their wares is so harmless as people here say, who is going to give a playboy, or whatever porn mag is in fashion now, to their child this year beause its safe and "there is nothing wrong with boobies"

I dare you . . . . .

You're all hypocrites with selective morality that you turn on and off as it best suits your needs :) :) :)

480475 2006-08-31 06:23:00 Quite an emotive post there netchicken...

What i fail to see is why you say we are hippies. Firstly people posted what we felt, secondly i completely fail to see who if any of the posters whose views you oppose would be likely to attack a house, and thirdly i completely fail to see what if any connection the two events may have, so where's the hypocrisy of any individual?

I know i wouldn't attack a house, and South Brighton is walking distance for me.

Also, if my son picked up a porn mag, i really wouldn't be concerned. I'm sure at 15 he has a fair idea how it all goes together by now. I suspect the mag would fascinate him for all of 15 seconds before he went back to his computers.

480476 2006-08-31 09:09:00 Heh, So what would happen if a child picked up a playboy?, apart from absolutly nothing? have you ever seen inside a playboy mag?

Laughable.

How the hell does hard drugs come into the picture?

By your logic arm-wrestling leads to murders, Should we declare them evil as well?

Hell, I stumbled upon a site the other day that consisted of nothing but pictures of womens feet, seems some guys love to look at feet, should we declare feet evil?

A naked foot down the main street will also lead us to beastality demonstrations in the near future?,

Sorry ladies, No more High Heels, The populace just cant handle it, Perhaps we could borrow some Burqa's, Hide the humans.

PANIC PANIC, saw an ankle, Im off to shag a hippopotamus.

480477 2006-08-31 20:38:00 I shall share a funny personal moment with you all.

Several years ago, my son walked into my bedroom to see me and girlfriend laying about exposed from the waste up and promptly proclaimed: "I can see your milk bottles!!!" We all laughed at that! :D

This experience must surely have warped his fragile little mind, or did it?

I suspect it didn't, as no-one had got to him first to make him aware that "milk bottles" are bad (M'kay). I consider the belief a perversion. There are however many people who live by that belief, and who strive to install it in others.

I find this sad. :(
