Hi Neil
what you have chosen is the "Post Icon" from below your draft posting. If you look to the right as you are writing your message then you will see some of the possible "Smilies". You can click on "More" to increase the range of options. However I have found it best when entering a smilie to duplicate the code,, ie colon eek colon (using : rather than colon - obviously). Because if you double click on the Smilie in the extended list you lose the message you have just composed !!!!! ...... heart-rending. :annoyed:

Another way is to copy your message before you double click, which I did for months before deciding it was easier to duplicate the code.

Clear as mud ?? :groan: (colon groan colon :) )

480809 2006-08-26 11:39:00 Is that the one with a cover about something like 10 security risks?
I saw it in my company a couple of days ago, Christchurch.
Was the 10 security risk article on the USA PC World two months ago?

480811 2006-08-26 14:00:00 double clickNews; nearly every link/button you have to click inside your browser is a single click. Double clicking links and buttons can result in double postings, and all sorts of other problems.

Only the desktop icons need a double click, unless you have changed the settings.

[Edit..]just tried to double post this with a double click, didnt work, the forum software didnt allow it, but the above is still valid.

A double click could mean one click on the page you are viewing and another click on the page you are expecting after the link, which may display a third page you didnt want.[/Edit..]
