| 479951 | 2006-08-21 21:49:00 | I have Gmail on my computer as well as the ordinary OE account with Ihug.I have set up Gmail to forward all incomming mail to my inbox. Occasionaly I go to Gmail and always find numerous pieces of Spam. But none of this spam has been forwarded to my inbox. All other mail has come through. What I want to know is what is blocking the spam. I have no spam filter. I never get Spam from IHug mail. They do a wonderful job of filtering it out. But surely IHug filters it before it is forwarded to me. So how is Gmail spam filtered between gmail inbox and my OE inbox? |

I have seen it mentioned here before that some people forward all their mail from ISP accounts to Gmail before downloading to weed out the spam. Think I might try it with a couple of my worst spam catcher accounts. |
