| 709808 | 2008-10-05 20:19:00 | Hi all, I just mainly use my computer for browsing and watch movies sometimes. Its only 1.4GHz Athlon speed and I am ok with it. My only issue is the USB ports. They are very slow when copying files to the usb sticks which i do often. I am guessing they are USB 1.1 version. www.gigabyte.com.tw My current configuration: 7VTXE Gigabyte motherboard, 512 DDR RAM, 1 IDE 120GB and 500GB SATA HDD (with a SATA TO IDE convertor). 64MB nvidia video card and built in sound card and running windows XP. Just wondering what would be the cheapest upgrade or solution to get a USB 2.0 ports? I am guessing a motherboard and also a CPU. Please advice. Thanks all in advance. |
