709723 2008-10-04 06:26:00 I just bought a new Samsung 1tb hard drive, stuck it in, checked it in bios & it showed 1000gb, so far so good. Stuck the vista disc in to install it. Now vista reports the drive as 31mb. Restart the system, into bios & it shows 33mb. Vista has lost the 1000gb & left me with 31mb cache by the look of it. Anyone know of a Linux tool (Ubuntu/Kubuntu) to repair this. I have no windows system on that computer & the hd is sata & incompatible with the other comp. Phil B (648)
