| 709554 | 2008-10-03 04:18:00 | How do you chose the default burner ? I currently have Sonic (restricted to audio) and have just downloaded PCBURNERXP. I want to identify Psburnerxp as the default. Control Panel and "Set Program access and defaults" do not give the choice. How can I tell Premiere Elements ? Misty :confused: |

Since then the problem has changed in that I got the blue screen. It is the only change I have done recently - so means will have to do some checks and identify the problem. Misty :( |

| 709558 | 2008-10-05 06:12:00 | Thanks Speedy - yes I do have the latest version of cdburnerxp. However I have overcome my problems by uninstalling Sonic fully - both Sonic "Record Now" and Sonic DLA. Have now successfully burned twice directly from Premiere Elements 4 to DVD. Sonic must have been over-riding the burning process. What I had discovered is that Premiere Elements has a built-in burner. It does not need third party burners such as cdburnerxp, Nero or Sonic. Thanks again for trying to help. Am sure cdburnerxp is a very good program - I just did not need it in the end for this exercise ! Misty :thumbs: |
