| 709110 | 2008-10-01 21:02:00 | I have a WD Caviar Drive (IDE 200gb), which I've removed from a dead media player (Media Gate SD350, which has gone back to place I purchased it from - another story:( ). The drive has files on it, which I would like to retrieve. If I install it in my win xp pro machine as a slave drive, would I be able to retrieve Them? It's not the end of the world if I don't, as I have them elsewhere; but it would be a pain if I had to go back to the tapes of our last holiday and re-do them on the PC. |
