| 481433 | 2006-08-31 01:21:00 | I think it's the excitement about numbers is one of the defining things of a pc geek. My brother always laughs at me when I sit down and try and tweak another 10fps out of a game and stuff like that. Or when I get excited about a new product. He says I am addicted to higher numbers. (Not quite right, because I would rather have a 1.8ghz conroe than a 3ghz p4) Personally, I think a geek can be anyone who devotes a large amount of interest into a particular area, so much that they can appear rather obsessed and addicted to the non-geeks of that area. So therefore you can have music geeks, maths geeks, pc geeks, whatever. But computer geeks are the most special :) |

| 481436 | 2006-08-31 02:12:00 | You are 7% geek OK, so maybe you ain't a geek. You do, at least, show a bit of interest in the world around you. Either that, or you have enough of a sense of humor to pick some of the sillier answers on the test. Regardless, you're probably a pretty nifty, well-rounded person who gets along fine with people and can chat with just about anyone without fear of looking stupid or foolish or overly concerned with minutiae. God, I hate you. |
