| 709791 | 2008-10-05 18:33:00 | Hi, I use my Ubuntu(8.04LTS) machine to download 25 of rar files(200 Mb each) and extract them in one huge video files 4.4 GB. The video is good, so I delete the 25 rar files. Now, I want to transfer this file (4.4Gb) to windows XP machine. Can someone tell me how to create .rar files 1Gb or 500 Mb each in archive manger in Ubuntu. Thanks in advance. |

OR if its only 4.4Gb, burn it to DVD on the Ubuntu Machine, then open the DVD on the Windows PC and copy/paste into the folder you want ? |

I have try burn to DVD got error message. My external USB HD is NTFS and the UBuntu can not recognise that. Thank you both of you. |
