| 482339 | 2006-09-03 03:14:00 | Ring the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary....04-9209200. They are keeping a record of hearings/sightings of native birds in the Wellington region. One of my neighbours recently had Tuis in her back garden, I'm hoping they will investigate the bush at the back of my section. Martynz |

| 482341 | 2006-09-03 03:47:00 | Ok, I probably got my bird name wrong, since I have no idea about birds, but apparantly they sound the same as another bird that is fairly common.... But with my such limited knowledge, I probably shouldn't even be replying to this thread... meh. | mejobloggs (264) | ||
| 482342 | 2006-09-03 08:59:00 | Bellbirds and tui can sound very similar. The bellbird has a slightly more "liquid" tone. I can't describe it in words. | TGoddard (7263) | ||
| 482343 | 2006-09-03 10:21:00 | Get Bellbirds in Paraparaumu but they probably come over from Kapiti Island. It is nice to see and hear them. | Pato (2463) | ||
