Your thoughts? At the moment because it was on the news there is so many people on it the site is actually timing out. (It took me about 10 minutes to get to the register screen and then i gave up.)
But already there are about 1500 - 2000 listings, quite well considering it opened at 1pm today.

481082 2006-08-29 11:41:00 I got an email from them blaming Xtra. Quite a poor start. Greg (193)
481083 2006-08-29 11:53:00 Could be true. Worked fine for me, I was in the 2000's. Looks like it's growing FAR faster than he expected, and will no doubt be moving to better server(s) soon.

There are now 4141 items listed...

481084 2006-08-29 12:52:00 When I browse the listings (say Computers / Peripherals) it says there are 5 listings but when I get to the page it says there "There are no auctions in this category"

I'm not surprised they have 4141 'listed' items ... most are phantom :P

Update edit:
hehe, I was looking for a plane, (got the treadmill sorted, I want to try the 'will it take off' experiment) they have a listing there for planes, but only one item, under parts. S'ok thinks me, I'll built it piece by piece, but no .... "There are no auctions in this category" arrrrgggghhh

481085 2006-08-30 05:19:00 That is a bit disappointing, yes. I'm going to e-mail them and ask them why. I want maximum performance out of my 50 shares :D george12 (7)
481086 2006-08-30 06:27:00 I got an email from them blaming Xtra. Quite a poor start.Funny how it's instant on a telstra cable modem, but 10 minutes of trying to get in without timeout errors with xtra....... personthingy (1670)
481087 2006-08-30 07:01:00 Well, all the auctions are displaying now, looks like they WERE there, just not visible for whatever reason.

Excellent.
