2006-08-29 07:48:00 | I realise Press F1 has been down. I am also having problems getting onto the New Zealand ANZ bank site. Is anyone else having problems? The SBS site is operational.... Have to pay my bills this week. :(

2006-08-29 07:52:00 | Yes, just had a colleague on the phone, he can't get to ANZ and has had the same problem the last few days. I could get in but it was like wading in treacle, took forever and loaded the page slow-as.

2006-08-29 09:02:00 | Xtra told me it was the fault of the ANZ ISP blocking some of Xtra's IP addresses. The helpdesk guy told me to set my proxy to proxy.xtra.co.nz to work around the problem. | Mackin_NZ (6958) | |
2006-08-29 09:15:00 | "set my proxy to proxy.xtra.co.nz" I'm all go now, and I didn't do the above...

2006-08-29 15:28:00 | It's been nasty . . . hard to get to the server and many, many time-outs while trying to get here . I am at the same time having trouble with my drop (the wiring to my home) via underground copper, and my isp is trying to find a way to replace it without tearing up 1/2 mile of concrete road to repair it . Hopefully, they will just replace the copper with optical cable . . . . . . now that would be nice . FIOS, here I come! BTW: there are a lot . . a LOT of changes to the forms and appearance of F1 today when I finally got on . . . what's up? The "insert link" icon here, however, still does not work correctly . I am used to just highlighting the word I intend to link, and then only have to enter the address of the link itself . . . . here, I have to type in both the word (again) and the link . Kinda dumb! Also . . . missing the Submit button under the preview . Hmmmmm!

2006-08-30 01:06:00 | BTW: there are a lot..a LOT of changes to the forms and appearance of F1 today when I finally got on...what's up? On Monday afternoon NZT PressF1 was taken offline so that vBulletin could be upgrade to fix some security & spam issues. The "insert link" icon here, however, still does not work correctly. I am used to just highlighting the word I intend to link, and then only have to enter the address of the link itself....here, I have to type in both the word (again) and the link. Kinda dumb! Also...missing the Submit button under the preview. Hmmmmm! Can you post those issues in this thread: pressf1.co.nz Thanks :)
