I want to buy another game but can't remember which download version I selected last time (or why). I have a mental block when trying to understand what Ftp or BitTorrent even means. I guess FTP would work better as "the files are always available", as opposed to the prospect that someone (i.e. those from Kheops Studio etc.) may not be sharing the files at the time of purchase. BitTorrent relies on multiple peer-to-peer concept for downloading, while FTP is based on one-to-one downloading. Cheers :) |

He is buying the game, the only way the site will go down is if the company goes belly up. Use FTP is best, if your using a decent FTP client you will have resume anyway if the host site supports it and most do these days. |

FDM (www.freedownloadmanager.org) is a good freeware alternative, it also has a Lite version available (2 megabyte setup). |
