710590 2008-10-08 01:21:00 When i start Firefox 3.03 this is the page it goes to

www.google.co.jp

Last time I used this machine it automatically went to

www.google.co.nz

Any ideas? as i haven't changed any settings

It's just bizarre

710591 2008-10-08 02:19:00 Have your changed your IP address or used a proxy?
Foxyproxy or ProxyPal or something?

710592 2008-10-08 02:27:00 Have you checked in the Tools/Options/ Main Tab that the home page is set to the one you want ??

Try also going to google.co.nz then under the main tab, select " Use Current" - see if it changes back OK.

710593 2008-10-08 02:39:00 For google.com if you add /ncr it becomes a "no country redirect" google. Not sure about firefox start though Blam (54)
710594 2008-10-08 03:04:00 The bizarre thing is that it has just fixed itself, I clicked the home button and it took me to the nz version

I have not knowingly changed my IP address, nor have i used any proxies

BUT my home page was set to

en-GB.start2.mozilla.com

Which i am guessing would normally automatically redirect me to the NZ version but owing to some glitch was sending me to the Jap version, anyway all sorted now i have set the home page to the NZ version
