| 710529 | 2008-10-07 23:34:00 | Hope you guys can help me with these 2 problems-still an amateur with computers :p 1.Am trying to show hidden files and folders in XP home but windows is not letting me. After selecting "show hidden files and folders" and clicking apply I went back into folder options and it was on "Do not show hidden files and folders"?????:confused: :confused: 2.As I am a computer geek in training I decided to play around with device manager-in doing so I must have accidentally uninstalled something as now I can't hear anythign from my speakers and this message comes up when I try to play music through WMP :help: please!!! (I will upload image of message later-currently screenshot is still uploading) |

| 710530 | 2008-10-08 00:00:00 | Hi, you may need to be using an administrator account to change the setting of hidden folders and files. If you removed a device from device manager, it should re-appear from a reboot. the joys of a plug and play O/S |
