709864 2008-10-05 20:48:00 Can't start up my vista laptop this morning. It was working fine last night though.

Able to start up in safe mode but how get to system restore in safe mode? I have create a windows restore image using Vista's built-in utility.

Where to look for the built-in Utility in Vista Ultimate?

709866 2008-10-05 21:32:00 Easiest way I find is click the start Orb, in th esearch type in restore, select System Restore from the results - (will take a few moments to open) then either use the restore point it has selectedd, or click on the bottom option " Choose A Different Restore Point" wainuitech (129)
