483674 2006-09-10 08:07:00 Hi back from my holiday in London. I see that after buying 3 shirts of a total of just over $300, UK is not a cheap place. Anyway, the bank charged me almost $9 total of those 3 transactions for bank "currency service fee".

Are their any c/c which does not have this fee? I assume banks already make a profit from their FX rate already.

Thanks

Don't think so although the amount of the fee varies.
Rip off huh. Travellers cheques may have been better.
