I guess smoking the stuff everyday for the past 4 years of my life doesnt count me as a heavy user... When I was a depressed teen I smoked it with friends so my mind would focus on the direct present. Laughing at stupid things and just not thinking about the bad stuff that teens think is so important. So if you dont know what you are talking about ****!! That is all.I'm not going to dis your belief, but i will say that your experiences so far are just that........ YOURS... and that while some people [that i know] suit pot far more than other drugs (alcohol comes to mind for many) there's also a hell of a lot who don't. There is no absolute "normal" reaction, and to say that your experiences so far are the be all and end all is as ignorant as those who seem to have taken "reefer madness" on board as fact. And for a little light relief, see if you can find a copy of reefer madness, it's propaganda that warned people that one toke makes everyone homicidal etc.. it's hilarious, watch it next time your stoned and you'll laugh till it hurts :thumbs: |

I know many, allthough i agree that as a rule pot-heads tend to be slothful, lazy, unmotivated, etc. I feel oblidged to point out that my greatest achievments were almost intirely the product of a time when i was a 24/7 smoker. Of course it's possible that i may have done better if i was a non-smoker, but who knows? |

Apart from the fact that i haven't smoked for more years than i can be bothered recalling, there's no way i could compare the circumstances of 15-22 years ago with those of today . Life tends to change in so so many ways . . . . . . . . . . I doubt if there will ever be accurate general info on this, after all, to achieve this, one would need to force people who don't want to smoke, and deny a group that do . By correlating data from these groups and the natural smoker and non smoker groups, we could actually work out if pot makes people lazy, or if people who are prone to being lazy want to smoke and all the other "facts" can be confirmed or challenged . This is unlikely to happen . There has been a "war on drugs" and the first casualty of war is always truth, particular when human beings, fanatic groups, and/or governments are involved . :( |
