484386	2006-09-14 09:05:00	I did see an item in the Wellington paper yesterday where that non Telecom mobile phone supplier is planning to offer an internet service at comparable speeds for around $29.95 per month. Might be worth looking at if Vodafone's service is in the area of your hostel and it could be patched into your laptop(?). Jim	Hhel (8073)

484388	2006-09-14 10:18:00	Ninjabear, I notice that you are in Palmy. I wonder if that means that the hostel is out at Massey's campus across the river? You probably don't wish to change ISP's but Inspire does have some wireless coverage around Massey area. I think that they also have some connection through BCL as well. I believe I'll be living at a flat call Tararua next year.They have a phone socket already available but you need to pay charges for a phone line + your internet. Last year while I was living in the hostel.There was a inspire panthlet but it was dialup plans. There is wireless around Massey but it doesn't cover the entire massey.Only parts like library,cafe, computer labs. Im in a flat this year on ihug 2mbps plan .we'll be disconnecting it at the end of the year and I'll likely to join them again next year .The account for this year isn't under my name but I have access it because I am the one responsible for internet charges and anything to do with computer.While the others are responsible for the financial stuff like power,gas,groceries etc:)	Ninjabear (2948)
