| 710265 | 2008-10-07 01:50:00 | hi there i am trying to network my windows vista computer with a windows xp computer for online gaming and generally sharing an internet connection. But my problem is when both computers are hooked up only one computer can access the internet at one time, we can share files and printers but when we both try and access the net only one computer can access it. The funny thing is this one time both were able to access the net and online game but then when we reset the computers it suddenly went back to the old problem. The router we are using is the D-Link DSL-G604T Another thing is i dont usually use this router i usually use my Dynalink RTA1320, i only use the D-Link when we are networking. Any help would be appreciated |

| 710266 | 2008-10-07 01:54:00 | Did you type the ips in manually?? On these 2 PC's?? Are the ips the same (on the Dlink and the Dynalink)?? Has the firmware been updated on the D-link?? What about firewalls?? Any installed besides the windows one? Do the ip's of the PC's appear in the Dlink's config? Which PC (is the main PC) XP or Vista? |
