| 710162 | 2008-10-06 20:07:00 | Acer SA10 with XP Home. Checked my memory obviously need more how do I know what to buy. XP Home. How much xtra? Is this (www.acer.co.nz(E4DDFD7CCB7489DE9E2794ABE0414D29)~Acer+Aspire+SA1 0_Brochure.pdf/$file/Acer+Aspire+SA10_Brochure.pdf) your PC? If it is, it can take up to 2GB, I'd recommend adding 1GB to the 256MB that you currently have. Even though on the brochure it says DDR SDRAM, chances are it's straight DDR. Easy way to tell is pop the side of the case off, and check how many notches the empty RAM slot(s) have. On that PC - 1 notch = DDR RAM, 2 notches = SD RAM (very unlikely). Here's (content.answers.com) a pic to illustrate. Top one is SD RAM bottom is DDR does laptop ram fit a desktop? Definitely not. :p |

| 710163 | 2008-10-07 00:22:00 | Look at what RAM is in it, On the sticker it says DDRsomething like DDR266 or DDR2-533. Or PCsomething, PC-2700 etc. Thats the sort you need. |
