| 711521 | 2008-10-11 09:12:00 | My ASUS DRW-2014L1T (SATA) will now only read DVD's that aren't burnt (commercial DVD's and magazine disks etc are fine). It will see the size of the content on the disk in properties, but when you go to explore it there is nothing there. Running Vista Home premium with Nero 8. | Twelvevolts (5457) | ||

And if I leave a burnt dvd in the drive and reboot, Windows freezes until I take it out. This doesn't happen with a commercial or non-burnt DVD. |

All the software uses the same commands to the hardware. If the drive can't read burnt disks it won't matter what software you're using. |
