| 711229 | 2008-10-10 11:35:00 | I sometimes receive a 'generic win32 host has encountered an error and needs to close' window while connected to the internet. When I click Don't send my net conn stops. It doesn't disconnect though. I am on dial-up. Any ideas why? | sammo450 (13626) | ||

| 711234 | 2008-10-13 08:07:00 | Hmm it could be corrupt, why its crashing Have you got a cd with SP2 on it or slipstreamed on cd?? You could update to SP3, which may fix it, but that'll take a while to get on dialup. Are u in NZ or somewhere else? |

| 711236 | 2008-10-13 19:46:00 | What you could try is Put the XP cd in Open a command prompt CD to the cd (if the cd is D, type d: ) Then type cd I386 Then type expand netapi32.dl_ C:\windows\system32\netapi32.dll If it says it exists overwrite it. Say yes to copy it to this folder. Then reboot |
