710874 2008-10-08 20:17:00 Heya all,

I have a Logitech Z2300 2.1 speaker system at home. The problem I now have is that the left speaker no longer works. What I am wondering is can I jut replace the 2 desk speakers, without having to replace the subwoofer as well, as this is still working fine.

If I can get away with just replacing the speakers, does anyone have some good recommendations....

If I have to replace the whole unit, does anyone have some good recommendations for a 2.1 system......

Have you tried swapping the speakers around or another set of speakers?

710876 2008-10-08 22:19:00 You probably could. I'd stick with logitech if you can find something suitable....... pctek (84)
710877 2008-10-08 22:36:00 Okay, have done what cyabro suggested and it is not the speaker, but in fact seems to be the subwoofer.

So it now looks like time to replace this system with something new. Looking for recommendations of 2.1 systems, enjoy mostly movies, music and games. Should I stick with the z-2300 or look at something else.

710878 2008-10-09 02:13:00 If you still have the original receipt you may be able to get a replacement-I recently had a Logitech V320 mouse replaced as the scroll wheel was malfunctioning. All I had to to was fill in a form on the site and I received an email promptly. I must say, Logitech's customer service is quite good.

Good Luck:D
