| 710826 | 2008-10-08 10:27:00 | Hi, everybody. I am using Vista (SP1) and have Windows set for Daily update search. This appears to be working but no updates have been available since 10th Sep. Prior to this date there were updates 3 or 4 times per week. I'm wondering if I have a prob with this so can anybody tell me if they have received updates since 10th sep. Perhaps I'm being paranoid- maybe Microsoft have decided Vista is now perfect ! |

If you do not have a problem, do nothing. I bought a laptop with Vista Premium last Christmas. It has never been updated - nothing. Never had any problems. |

If you go to the website you are redirected to the Control Panel app, so there's no difference. I update my computer wherever possible. Not all of Vista's updates are for security. |
