The CD/DVD emulating program is now free for a while.
Get it while you can.

486027 2006-09-21 02:54:00 Is this a retro version of the programme, or is it superior to 120%? Greg (193)
486028 2006-09-21 05:12:00 Thanks for that, I downloaded.
120% does recording as well. A related question. Does 120% strip out the CD protection when you want to make a copy of your own programs?

The other question is I am using Nero, cannot seem to find where you create a ISO image off a CD or DVD. Where is that feature located?

Thanks in advance.

You have to change the burning device from your CD/DVD writer to the image recorder. it is just a combo box on the toolbar (in nero - in Nero Express, you just follow the wizard untill it asks you what device you want to use)

And ta very much Bob for the Alcohol link. Looks like 4085 dpwnloads in 16 hours.

52% allows you to mount an image. 120% allows you to burn a copy too.

How effectively depends on what sort of protection was on the original.

I find those things a pain, best method for playing your games without need for a CD/DVD in the drive is a no-CD.
And yes, I do own the originals too as this is getting a bit close to the banned subject.

Thats all good for single player, but doesn't work if you play online. Also, you have to find a new crack every time you update the game.

486033 2006-09-22 06:56:00 When using Alcohol alongside ClonyXXL, there becomes precious little need for looking for No-CD places, althought a virtual-CD hider app may be needed at times with the latest.
