| 485382 | 2006-09-18 02:06:00 | ok i got a dvd recorder and i connect it to my tv using the 3 AV outs from the dvd recoder and plug them into the tv's A/V inputs. Now my sky digital decoder used to use the tv's A/V inputs but now their taken up by the dvd recoder. The tv currently has 3 A/V Outputs(not inputs) and the dvd recorder doesn't have any A/V inputs. How do i connect the sky digital decoder to my tv now? |

Firstly how old is your dvd recorder surely it must have one input on the back and or front of it, if it does then plug your sky decoder into that input, but remember if you do that you will only be able to watch sky when your dvd recorder is switched on. |

The output from the tv goes to my vCR or your DVD recorder And were does the output of the DVD recorder go...? basically if you only have 1 AV input on your TV and no inputs on your DVD recorder then you need a switch box from DSE or Jaycar. |

True Dse has something call a video selector around $30 I can't remember exactly but I remembered that the Sky goes directly to the tv.Output of the Tv goes the VCR. and I think Sky has another output that goes to the VCR. I remembered I didn't need a switch box. It's been 3 years now.I can't really remember |
