Humans have a large brain and insatiable sense of curiosity but apart from that, we aren't much different from the average cat or dog. It doesn't answer your question but there is just one question at the base of all animal behaviour - can I eat it - or will it have my babies? Absolutely primal. Survival of the species. |

You've overdone the words here. Retract means "to take back." So back is superfluous. And superfluous is what we may decide we are, if we get depressed about the meaning of life. That's when you should start thinking outside the square. So looking at it another way, how many people's lives do you brighten because of your own existence? And how sad would they be if you weren't here? Our meaning(s) of life are usually intertwined with others |
