2008-10-09 04:43:00 | Is there an add-on for rocket dock that enables you to click the icon and have a menu appear instead of opening whatever the shortcut is to? Or is it a included feature already? If so could someone tell me where I can find this feature? Also, I know Object Dock already has this feature but it is too bloaty so I uninstalled it Cheers Blam

2008-10-09 05:12:00 | Are you meaning the same way Mac's do ? if so its called StackDoclet (rocketdock.com), it works good with RocketDock Google Pictures (images.google.co.nz) I have it on one of the workshop PC's. If this is what you mean you download the zipped file and drop its contents in the rocketDock folder from memory - I'll check and post back.

2008-10-09 05:17:00 | BTW this is totally off topic but I installed Crystal XP-a total theme pack that replaced everything from icons to logon screen to the actual theme. I uninstalled it but some icons are still the same. If I extract shell32.dll from a legal XP CD and replace the current one will my icons returen to default? Thanx Blam

2008-10-09 05:18:00 | Yep thats all - Youtube Demo (www.youtube.com) - in the configuration you can change the way it " spreads Out" Edited: Once you create a new stardock, you right click the Icon Settings / Current Settings / Mode, you change its behavior there. Shhh dont tell but I actually use it more and more --- Mac Maybe ??? Narrrr:lol:

2008-10-09 05:39:00 | regarding the Icons / Theme, I may be wrong but it shouldn't change the original Icons, only add new/different ones. to test - create a new shortcut to something then right click / properties/ change Icon, navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll and check to see if the originals are there. Copied From another site - to lazy to type out 1. Right-click an empty area of the desktop and choose "Properties". 2. When the "Display Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Desktop" tab. 3. Click the "Customize Desktop" button. 4. A "Desktop Items" dialog box will appear. Make sure the "General" tab is selected. 5. Choose an icon to change back. 6. Click "Restore Default". 7. Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them.

2008-10-09 06:27:00 | Tried all that-and I did that thing-not default icons Regarding copying a original shell32.dll - To be honest I have never tried - But because its such a major part of windows you may not be able to do a straight copy/paste. ??? Dunno  Edited: if you look at this here from MS (support.microsoft.com) - while its a completely different problem and not related it does show the commands to copy certain files to the system32 folder, so I guess it can be done, just locate the one(s) relating to the shell.dll
