| 710986 | 2008-10-09 02:47:00 | I have a PC at Home the monitor keeps going into powersave doesnt matter what monitor I use LCD or CRT it will power down after approx 25 mins The PC remains running but the Monitor will go into powersave. I have the following specs AMD Athlon64 3500+ 2 x 512Gb RAM DDR 400 3 x IDE HDD 15Gb, 40Gb and 40Gb 1 X DVD +RW 1 x 3Com Wireless NIC 1 x ATI Radeon 9500 Pro Windows XP Pro SP3 ATI Catalyst Software Suite 8.9 MS Net 2 Any ideas you have as to why it is doing this would be appreciate Thanks in advance |

| 710987 | 2008-10-09 02:50:00 | Have you checked the power settings on the PC? To make sure it's not going into standby and for some reason not coming out. Could pay to check temps in the BIOS too, or get some software like hmonitor (http://www.hmonitor.net/) to make sure it's not overheating. |
