487689 2006-09-27 12:07:00 Just saw this Kiwi endeavour on the news - a bid to circumnavigate the world by a boat powered by eco-fuels. They need a lot of support. I reckon it's a great cause:

487690 2006-09-28 00:06:00 Gweg????

Ridding the world of famine is a "great cause"

Striving for world peace is a "great cause"

Ridding the world of nuclear weapons is a "great cause"

Cruising round the world in a boat instead of working is nothing more than a holiday. Im sure they can manage without our support...

And as the starter of this thread and obvious supporter, what support will you be supplying?

Thanks for your post beetle. Im sure you are aware that as a discussion forum, users are able to express their positive/negative thoughts in a post. As your post contains no relevance to this threads title im sure you will find other ways and places to impart your "wisdom".

487695 2006-09-28 00:58:00 Veale,

I think most people, though not all, would find a showcase of environmentally riendly technologies such as low-emmission engines etc

to be a good cause, not a hoiliday.

I suggest you calm down.
