487612 2006-09-27 08:21:00 Very interesting. Is that just in the US, or world-wide?

On the topic of Iron Maiden, does anyone have their new CD?

487613 2006-09-27 08:40:00 Guess it was inevitable then that I'd end up in I.T.

487614 2006-09-27 08:42:00 Megadeth are Killer, if anyone is looking for some A grade Heavy Metal then they cant go wrong with just about any Megadeth album (as long as they dont buy Risk)

Only metal shirt I have is a Motorhead one I picked up at the concert in Auckland last year, Much prefer to get Tatts nowadays....Next appointment in a week...w00t w00t.

As for the latest Maiden CD, Getting rave reviews,...Personally I find the lyrics too vague which makes the passion of the songs sound contrived. So imo while the music, song structure and vocal delivery are some of the best in the feild it seems that after near 30 years of making albums they simply have nothing new to say.

Still I appear to be in the minority (luckily its a cool minority and we have plenty of drinks and some arse-kicking speakers)

487615 2006-09-27 09:08:00 And while im at it, Metal Heads world wide spit on the "validation" of the music by a corperate study of suits.:lol::lol:

Now im off to fire bomb the joke that is the R'n'R hall of Fame

487616 2006-09-27 10:06:00 Never owned a heavy metal t-shirt. I have a shirt by Seaweed, but I doubt they'd be called HM.

Mind you, I'd never trust anything on a website by the likes of bottom dwelling scum Intermedia who use sneaky and dirty tactics by faking advertising as news.

487617 2006-09-28 09:26:00 "According to new research, IT staff are twice as likely to wear a heavy metal t-shirt as their non-IT counterparts. The study also found IT types 34% more likely to sport a ponytail. Other key findings:

* Black jeans are 63% more popular among IT types than other workers
* IT workers are 32% less likely to wear clean clothes every day of the week than business managers
* Business and IT people are equally likely to wear a cellphone belt clip

Confirming one stereotype, however, was the finding that IT workers were almost twice as likely to carry a Maglite and a Leatherman."

Um. I'm obviously a mutant then.....

Don't own any sort of tshirt.
Wear clean clothes every day.
Don't have enough hair length to make into a ponytail and wouldn't if I did.
Don't have a cellphone so I'd look pretty dumb wearing the beltclip.
Whats a maglite?
Don't own a leatherman.

Do have some black jeans...but then have more blue ones than black.
