| 487418 | 2006-09-26 02:08:00 | Gigabyte and ASUS are to form a new company as yet unnamed. GB takes 51% and ASUS 49%. For ASUS its about having its fingers in as many pies as possibel. For GB its about increasing market share. Only MBs and Graphics cards will be covered under the new deal, with manufacturing outsourced to GB. The new entity is expected to start trading in 2007. The 2 companies will continue to function separately although GB will now have access to ASUS factories. From Atomic Magazine. |
