| 486859 | 2006-09-23 16:22:00 | Got my board all waxed and the waves are building . . . I got good/bad news on my surgery . . . they are gonna wait till the eye gets a little more stable for now . The IV was inserted, and the surgeon took one last look and decided he wanted to wait a while . Maybe he just had a bad 18 holes or something . . . but I am happy that he is so conservative . Now I get to wait for a while and see if my scleral buckle has to be removed or can stay or can be repaired . AH!!!! The VA Medical Center at Loma Linda is a great place . . . without them, I'd be blind by now . They are fighting a losing battle for my eyesight . . . and I have them to thank for all the fantastic interventions so far . Next month is foot surgery . . . and we will stop at that point .
