| 487377 | 2006-09-30 10:32:00 | Even though I didn't watch Top Gear on TV myself, but I watched all the old Top Gears from the net and I think they're great.:D My favorite part is the Ford GT, I though it was a crappy machine from Ford and it is actually not. Besides the Top Speed is faster than Porsche Carrera GT. And Jeremy really liked that Ford GT. It's really though he droved the Ford GT until no fuel left. And for people who driving stupidly i.e. new Boy Racers and Drifters learned their examples from Fast & Furious not Top Gear. Top Gear machines are world's most expensive class vehicles, and they're not going to use it for stupid reasons but for fact. FnF? Yes, they're making tricks that cause those stupid audience to follow them.:annoyed: They shouldn't followed it. And JAP tunners cars ain't that fast and aerodynamic is not that great for over 300km/h. I mean dangerous for public roads and not legal for road use. Quality super cars? Yes, they're legal for road use but for the rich only. And they're much safer at high speeds. See the difference? |

| 487380 | 2006-10-01 00:19:00 | Life has been linked with death . Shall we pull the plug on that too? OK, maybe that sounds ridiculous, but to me it sounds ridiculous to pull the plug on all the fun things we might do while alive, as if to be sure that no-one has any naughty and/or dangerous fun stuff available to do, leaving us to die of boredom instead . Unfortunately there is a growing no fun brigade who seem to wish this to be the way . I have no words to describe such a killjoy attitude that will survive obscenity filters . Soon, if such people get there way, all enjoyable activity might be banned! :xmouth: |

| 487382 | 2006-10-01 00:58:00 | no they should not shut down top gear. The guy enjoys driving at 527km/h, who wouldn't? If the producers did shut it down he would still be driving at the same speeds and doing the same stunts. | goosebumps50 (11173) | ||

And it is not legal on roads so Top Gear can do it. lol. TOP GEAR IS GREAT. Does anyone know Fifth Gear(I don't really know the real video name but I can post the link later if you guys want it) videos from You TUBE? That guy is really really really su*ks. I HATE him. Because he couldn't describe more about a car and that car history, and when he started the Ferrari ENZO he feels like he never could afford one of those machines making himself stupid on camera. TOP GEAR? All those guys are performing quite well, they talk about the car history, style, handling, and the quality! TOP GEAR is really a good show, not just describing things but with FACT! If you guys want that fifth gear video link just ask for it, because I can post you that link. After watching it I think you guys will prefer the Top Gear show. |

| 487384 | 2006-10-01 02:58:00 | The guy your refering to from Fifth Gear is probably Tiff Needell, hes a former F1 driver and former host of the orginal Top Gear. While he might not have the same onscreen personality of Clarkson he can definately drive circles around him, and he knows his cars. Each year Clarkson puts out his own DVD mainly made up of unused Top Gear footage and some new stuff, theres one cool review where Tiff and Clarkson ended up racing around the original Nuremberg track in a BMW and Jaguar respectively. Clarkson ended up towing Tiff down the track with a tank because he lost. |

When talking about personality Clarkson is much better, with much more logical fact and not just fascinating about cars like how they make etc. etc. Fifith Gear is so unpopular. :annoyed: It's a waste of time watching it. Now how did Tiff get replaced in Top Gear? By James? Is Clarkson a former F1 driver too? |

| 487386 | 2006-10-01 04:32:00 | No Clarkson lost, if you hadnt notice hes got a thing for British engineering, he was adament that the British Jaguar would whoop the German BMW. I wouldnt say that 5th Gear is unpopular, its targeted at a different audience. Top Gear is a very old show its been around in different forms for over 20years. Check out Wikipedia or something to find out more. Clarkson has little if no racing experience, hes mearly a journalist. |
