I especially like it's ability to prefix mp3 cd's with a sequential number so the burnt cd plays in the required order in a car player.

711809 2008-10-15 18:36:00 Winamp should do everything you need. For anything more, use VLC. Agent_24 (57)
711810 2008-10-15 20:53:00 Winamp FTW. I like the amount of plugins availible for it. There are even ones to output the current song to an external LCD display, or interface it with mIRC/XiRCON. ubergeek85 (131)
711811 2008-10-17 00:14:00 Winamp Essentials Pack v5.51.

And also:

Winamp toolbar is a must so you can play your music directly from your web browser toolbar and also listen to radio stations from around the world!!!

711812 2008-10-17 04:37:00 The program you use won't affect quality, but I find that winamp has the best interface & features of all the players. Greven (91)
