I like starting off with a clean system, gives me a chance to cull some of the crap out

I noted chum using a special cable(expensive) to do this with windows.
Is there a special one for Macs?

Best option is probably to start from scratch.
However data can be copied across using a firewire cable.
Basically Hold down the letter T when starting up one of the Machines... you might not even have to do this in leopard... drag and drop files onto the new machine.

The computer shows up on the desktop as a mounted drive.
Remember to eject the hard drive when done.

IPhoto - :annoyed: copy across the originals folder
