| 713122 | 2008-10-18 17:26:00 | Laptop with XP on it and when I try to load a particular game from a CD it says an older version of Direct X is required and then aborts the install.Any work round ? |

| 713123 | 2008-10-18 18:13:00 | Go to start/run if its XP. And type dxdiag. What version is installed Go to the MS download site and update it (DirectX). I think this is the full download (www.microsoft.com) You could get this but you have to stay online to get the rest of it (www.microsoft.com) |

| 713125 | 2008-10-18 18:32:00 | There is no IE 9 The only thing is if its only 1 game that needs DirectX 5, if you have later games, they may need DirectX 9. So, you'll be going backwards and forwards all the time Do a search in google for directx 5 You may or may not be able toi find it |
