712851 2008-10-17 18:34:00 I have a picture of many people but want to highlight one person. I thought that I might be able to use an arrow pointing at that person, but how do you make an arrow? Where do you get it from? How do you put it in the picture?

Or perhaps you have another way to highlight that person?

I will have a caption at the bottom of the picture saying who it is but it may not be obvious where that person is and an arrow, or something similar, would be much easier than writing a description of where that person is.

If it is an advantage, I could put the picture on ImageF1.

Thanks.:thanks

712852 2008-10-17 18:54:00 I presume you don't have any special software.

Why not just use MS Paint and create an arrow with the line tool?

Another option is to create a circle around the selected persons head in a contrasting colour.

712853 2008-10-17 20:02:00 Hi Roscoe. Would help a lot if we knew what you were using or had available to use. You can overlay graphics with arrows or circles in all sorts of programmes, even Word. Scouse (83)
712854 2008-10-18 01:29:00 Thanks, Scouse.

I do have Word, and for pictures I have MGI PhotoSuite SE and Adobe Photoshop 6.

Stormdragon: It's not so much that I have trouble creating the arrow, I don't know how to insert it into the picture. That's where you clever people come in!:)
