To paraphrase JJJJJ: Our WinXPs become more beloved each day...

489171 2006-10-04 23:30:00 And we are to "trust" Microsoft when they can turn legimate users into pirates (www.theregister.co.uk) KiwiTT_NZ (233)
489172 2006-10-05 04:49:00 Yay! more microstuffed computers thrown out for me and Ziggy to scavenge, rebuild, possibly linuxify, and add to our network :D personthingy (1670)
489173 2006-10-05 06:51:00 Microsoft has been crippling computers for years - for example Internet Explorer 6. Twelvevolts (5457)
489174 2006-10-05 12:56:00 ...How long before they intentionally blow your Hardware? Cornot (10386)
489175 2006-10-06 02:29:00 ...How long before they intentionally blow your Hardware?Almost all software does this by continually "updating" with all the latest "security" and other updates that put a higher demand on the system, often for no good reason. This renders the hardware obsolete, and unusable, which is about the same as "intentionally blow your Hardware". Is it not? personthingy (1670)
489176 2006-10-06 11:34:00 :mad:Damn, no Vista for me now man. Need to back down because the security is so unsecure and most probably most of my old system service software can't run on it.
Bloody damn Microsoft. Each of us might respect Linux one day instead of Microsoft OS.
 You ruled Linux, :groan: but not for games. But at least better than nothing.
I hope to see a transparent Linux one day, and hope the desgin will be a lot better than Windows and dreams will come true when the penguin shot down the Window.
