| 712603 | 2008-10-16 05:46:00 | I am on Xnets broadband plan and I am not liking the the speeds after 5pm (20kb/s). When I had xtra broadband speeds never dropped below 150kb/s Im looking for a new isp which has broadband for $40-$50 and has a monthly cap(slowed to 64/64 after cap used up) FYI: I moved to Xnet because back then xtra offered 6gb for $50 and xnet had 20gb for $54ish Thanks~ |

| 712604 | 2008-10-16 05:51:00 | TelstraClear is the best IMO. Good (not best) speeds, but consistent and reasonably priced. $50 for 10GB IIRC. Telstra charges you more if you go over though - rather than slowing you. |

| 712605 | 2008-10-16 07:34:00 | ISP's to avoid at the moment because of speed issues e.g.: overseas bandwidth issues Xnet - overseas bandwidth issues Slingshot - they are doing some funky throttling at the moment www.geekzone.co.nz www.gpforums.co.nz www.gpforums.co.nz |
