| 712537 | 2008-10-16 01:01:00 | Hi. For some reason I'm unable to solve the following problem and would really appreciate some help. When I'm trying to open a web page in Internet Explorer, Firefox opens and displays the page. Nothing against this :illogical :illogical but it can be nerving when the page to be opened is Microsoft Update. Many thanks for your help. | Cyberhuskey (13067) | ||

No change if not default browser. Why would you want to use IE over FF anyway? Firefox is my browser but Microsoft Update doesn't accept Firefox. Try going to Start> Run and typing iexplore.exe update.microsoft.com This option works. Why? Thanks. |

Web-designers like me sometimes need to test out a web page on multiple browsers. Yes, this is a problem that I used to face, but I am not sure how did I solve it. No help here, sorry :( |
