| 713714 | 2008-10-21 20:52:00 | TelstraClear has an "unmetered" promotion running where browsing Trademe and their video site does not count towards your monthly data cap. Does anyone know if any of the other major ISPs offer similar schemes? |

And using Itunes / the MS site / sites that use Akamai servers, dont count towards your data usage either. According to the Xnet site This has been going on for a while, and applies to all Xnet users |

| 713717 | 2008-10-23 22:19:00 | Cheers Speedy. What about the other major isps? No other ISP does this, as far as I am aware. Apart from Xnet & TelstraClear they are the only two who do this (& TelstraClear offer is only for a short time only.) |

And using Itunes / the MS site / sites that use Akamai servers, dont count towards your data usage either . According to the Xnet site This has been going on for a while, and applies to all Xnet users More specifically http://gpdownloads . co . nz which is housed at Xnet (Gameplanet itself isn't) . Akamai content is sort of a win/lose situation and I wouldn't bother with it . Why? Because it only caches certain files which are impossible to identify . |
