| 713726 | 2008-10-21 20:07:00 | Im looking at buying a laptop/ notebook (Brand has not been considered yet) some laptop manufacturers are marketing an inbuilt fingerprint scanner. What I would like to know is if the laptops fingerprint reader is enabled and is stolen can anybody re-format the hard disk? Im keen to know. | alopes (5331) | ||
| 713727 | 2008-10-21 20:27:00 | I've used HP laptops that have finger print readers and you have to configure them while in windows so yes anyone can format your hard disk simply by popping in a bootable cd. | mOOseCaNNoN (13319) | ||
