2006-10-12 00:33:00 | Murray P try clearing out your cookies & see if that helps, as some time cookies can go bad. | stu161204 (123) | |

2006-10-12 04:16:00 | How many other folks have been having this issue?I get logged out if I have been idle for maybe ~15 mins? The previous version didn't do this so quickly. I (and others) did report this in the original "Report Bugs Here" thread James posted right after the upgrade. Assumed that it had been noted. Using Firefox 1.5.0.6. Have it set to allow cookies until they expire.

2006-10-12 04:22:00 | I get logged out if I have been idle for maybe ~15 mins? That does not happen with me (Firefox 1.0.7) & I stay login to PF1 all day.

2006-10-12 04:51:00 | Nope, my f/fox is set to accept cookies and keep them until f/fox closes. PF1 used to remember me if I logged in after viewing pages... ie if I was on a PF1 chat page saw a thread that I wanted to 'comment' on, I would open it in a new tab, log in with a reply, but then I could go back to the already open 'chat' tab, refresh the page and it would update with me logged in at the top... make sense?

2006-10-12 19:42:00 | Maybe I have a greedy PC that keeps eating all my cookies... hmm, it is looking a bit fat this morning, wonder if I can download a Jenny Craig program for Windows? | Shortcircuit (1666) | |
2006-10-13 03:07:00 | For some reason my work pc logs me out even while mid-surfing through the site, but my home pc stays on happily. | rob_on_guitar (4196) | |
2006-10-19 03:32:00 | That coud be because your work computer is supposed to be used for work, rob, and the adminstrators have used a proxy setting which kills cookies after a short period. :D A different "?" : I have occasionally used the "Short Reply" box. Each time, when I "Submit Reply" I get the whizzing arrows for a "long" time. I give up, click the "Advanced" option and the "Submit Reply" in that works virtually instantly. Is the Short Reply mode set up to discourage brevity? ;)
