713720 2008-10-21 20:55:00 Hi everyone, im trying to set up a Grand Theft Auto San-Andreas: Multiplayer server but im having some issues. Everytime i try to give someone my external ip all it says is retreiving info and nothing happens when it should find my server and display the server name. I have forwarded my port, in this case the port 7777 and it worked because peoples have been playing on my server. but i cannot seem to find out what my server ip is. LarsJohann (13010)
713721 2008-10-21 21:28:00 Your external address is what other uses have to input, the server is your pc, so forward port 7777 to your pc address.... SolMiester (139)
713722 2008-10-21 21:49:00 I've gone through the process of forwarding the port 7777 and i've done so succesfully. now what do i do? LarsJohann (13010)
713723 2008-10-21 22:46:00 anyone? LarsJohann (13010)
713724 2008-10-21 22:54:00 Nothing I suppose. If its configured properly, people should be able to connect Speedy Gonzales (78)
713725 2008-10-21 23:00:00 Is the server setup behind your modem/router?
And do you have a static ip address?

If not, then everytime your modem/routers is rebooted, or reconnects you'll need to give your friends the new external ip address.

Either login into your router and find the address or use something like:
