| 713611 | 2008-10-21 06:50:00 | I have been having problems with my laptop! In IE7 I have lost the right click function on my mouse and also I have lost the toolbar which shows favourites. Also on the start menu - for example click start, left click conrol panel, left click internet options, the screen then goes back to the desktop screen. Any ideas? Andy |

| 713613 | 2008-10-21 07:26:00 | You can download malwarebytes & Spyware Terminator & Spybot S&D from my sig, run FULL scans not a quick scan - the quick scans will miss several deeper infections if it has any. Download Hijackthis from here (www.trendsecure.com) run it select scan and save a log, copy/paste the complete log back here - after doing a full scan with the programs, if the problem is not fixed. You might also want to try this - open My computer, on the C: drive, right click properties (assuming it works out of IE) click properties/ Tools Tab / Check Now - Put ticks in both boxes, click Start - you will get a message saying it cant run and do you want to run on next start up - select Yes- reboot and let the disk scan - Note: may take a while depending on how big your HD is and how much data you have. |
