491137 2006-10-13 14:27:00 I looking at getting rid of it. To someone willing and of the same attitude of course.

I just don't have time to update it and do it justice. Look at it will you, I haven't done anything on it in ages.

Hell, I'll probly just give it to someone who will promise to maintain and keep it updated.

Probably will have to be taken off the server its currently on (in California) however I can export the mysql db's and zip up the entire site. It does have rather rudimentary php frontends to the databases.

Any takers...? barmypom will probly be at the top of my list.

Anyway... does anyone even care anymore?

491139 2006-10-13 18:22:00 sell it on Trademe.

That would be a perfect place to sell it and if nothing else you would gets heaps of publicity.

have you put any google adverts on it? That always helps :)

491140 2006-10-13 20:56:00 Drop it and forget it. The whole "Telescum" thing is just so peurile and pathetic. Makes the users sound like a bunch of pimply-faced adolescent schoolboys.

It's big business, you are going to hit it head-on many times in your life, so learn to fight smarter. That way you can take them on and win.

Your present efforts don't even register on their radar, and even if they did, it would be beneath their dignity to respond, that's probably why your site hasn't been shut down.

Grow up and get a life while you still have time.

Cheers

491141 2006-10-13 21:02:00 Gees Billy, People dont have to fit your mold or live according to your views, Your opinion is only as good as the next one.

If thats his thing then good on him, It certainly isn't harming you.And if he finds worth in it then it isn't worthless, regardless of your just as meaningless position.

Telescum indeed, fight the fight as you may choose, regardless of any corporate radar. The only thing that has forced the government to act against Telecom is public ground-swell, meaning complaints and bitching.

491142 2006-10-13 21:44:00 Sigh.......this is becoming a habit, third time this year I think, so brace yourself Metla.........

I agree with you.

It was just my opinion.

Nobody has to do what I say.

My way works for me.

I find that companies large or small find it exceedingly difficult to say no in the face of polite, calm amd rational argument.

I am many thousands of dollars better off through doing it this way.

Others may like to try it, the results could be beneficial.

Your opinion is equally valid.

Your methods may be equally effective.

Cheers

P.S. I won my last fight by 300 metres.

491143 2006-10-13 21:45:00 Put it on trademe if no one will maintain it here.
And it's not worthless and immature.

491144 2006-10-13 22:29:00 Putting on TradeMe is a great idea. Problem being that you have to pay an upfront fee of 20 bucks for domain names.

A possible workaround is to list in the Computers category "Other" by selling it as a website, with free domain name thrown in. It may work, but also a strong likelihood that TardMe will pull the ad. Worth a try though I reckon.
