| 490508 | 2006-10-10 05:25:00 | I'm having trouble finding the minimum specs for Battlefield 1942. I threw out my box & I can't find them on the website. My sister always brings her computer along to LANs to leach off everyone, but 3D games make her sick. I'm hoping that I can take the radeon 9250 out of my linux machine & put it in hers & it will be able to play 1942 on low settings. The relevant specs (from memory) are: PIII 700 384mb RAM AGP slot (hopefully AGP 4x, but I haven't checked) |

| 490513 | 2006-10-10 11:40:00 | how to start thread??? go back to page where you can see all the threads. there is a button "new thread" above and below list, left hand side of screen, hoizontally level with the "page 1 of 171 | 1 2 3 4 5 last" thing. have fun! as for bf1942, good luck with that, but it will run. graphics will run on my integrated 32MB video (in-between video cards), and from experience a 9250 will do ok at lowest settings |

I know - makes me cringe thinking of what it would cost to get my computer to the point of being able to play it. It looks like a really cool game, but I will be sticking with 1942 - I've got a student loan to pay off. |

| 490517 | 2006-10-11 04:56:00 | What! What happened to SIT zero fees? thats just the base fees that are wiped. We had to pay 1 grand per year for our computers, plus various other small administration charges (added up to about $25 per year - nothing to get upset over) and some very expensive text books. |
